Valve stem seals was me being confused.

Compression test was just because.

If it's got a cat on then it will hold onto first longer when cold as I've said before about some of my motors.

Oh - maybe it's emissions crap then.

Wanted to do Didsbury but instead I'm at work out of necessity. Had to rearrange my hours as I've been busy all week with bike shop things.

My old Saab used to hold 1st & 2nd when cold to the point I'd be thinking 'change up ya twat'.

Exactly what the Mazda does, then goes into 2nd with a big clunk.
