I can't recall which car it was, but I once saw someone cutting up a brand new one piece exhaust as you needed about 4ft clearance under the car to fit it due to how it needed threading over the axle.

This is 15 years old and still has it original back box. I rewelded it almost 3 years ago and it hasn't broken off again. A mate had 3 aftermarket ones in 5 years!
The mid section went at the weld at the rear flange about 2 years ago, I couldn't be bothered getting the welder out used one off the old car.
First mid-section was changed May 2019, so nearly 14 years out of that. Mid-section robbed off grey Jizz was 9y 3m when it crashed, and done another 1y 9m on this, so 11y this has on it. Failures have been when the welds are.
I reckon life could be extended another 2/3 years on a Yutaka/Honda exhaust just welding things up "temporarily"

Posty arrived this morning with some stuff from the great bunch of lads.
Ordered 22:45 on Mon 15th Feb, 15/16 days is at the very quick end of things, considering I still have stuff ordered from the start of February still to arrive.
Two Honda remote key cases. My spare key for the Jizz is broken so the housing is taped together. Chose what I thought was the right one, but it turns out there's no trough for the transponder in the moulding.

Fake Lidl Dremel comes out as fuck knows how they embed the blade in the housing and with great care I set the keyblade free and cut the trough out of the old case.

Jizz exhaust started blowing louder just before reaching work yesterday (146985 miles).
Will live with it or splodge it to get it to the weekend.

Lived with it for three journeys to work and back (and Mrs H three school runs).
Drag out the welder and thought I'd at least pigeon-poo some of it up on the car. Temporarily. Honest. It's a ballache being upside down. That sort of nonsense is best left to SiC, it's a young man's game.

Fuck it, that'll do for Mrs H needs to get the weans.
Last evening of work for the week, so might actually do a proper job if I can be arsed. She's already told me some out-of-stock paint is now sitting behind the customer services desk at Woodies. That's painting avoidance gone for this weekend.

Best qualification for being a painter decorater is being brain dead. Most of the ones I know are fully qualified
Sorry if there are any on here. You already knew I was a cunt though.

It's so piss-easy and refreshing to fit a genuine exhaust. Especially compared to some of the complete shit out there in the aftermarket (which you can see in the background)

Small job for a Sunday morning. Go back and sort a rattly heat shield out over the exhaust that I didn't bother doing the other day as I had to shoot off to work.

Just fractured all the way round the washer.
No need to jack up. 10mm combo, undo bolt, stick a penny washer in, tighten bolt. That'll stop it annoying the tits off me!
